For this surgery, you can be given twilight or general anesthesia and will remain asleep during the entire procedure.  You have these incision options:

• Periareolar lift (creating an incision around the areola)
• Lollipop (incision around the areola running vertically from the bottom edge of the areola to the breast crease)
• Anchor -(also called a Wise pattern) (incision around the areola, vertically from the bottom edge of the areola to the crease and then horizontally beneath the breast)
